Review of the Hotel Dolmen, Malta
The holiday friendliness at the hotel is high, with fine conditions and environments of sun, sand, food, drink, exercise and entertainment. In the large hotel garden are two freshwater swimming pools with children’s swimming pool, pool bar Neptuno and a short tunnel under the sea promenade leading to the hotel’s beach club – Amazonia (open May to October depending on weather). The Dolmen offers a large seawater pool, children’s pool, a ladder for sea bathing, wooden deck with terrace restaurant, main restaurant, bar, night club, diving centre and water sports centre with canoes, small boats, jet skis and water skis. At the hotel there is also a heated indoor swimming pool with fresh water, a small gym, jacuzzi, sauna, two tennis courts and a squash court.
In the hotel’s main restaurant Menhir breakfast and dinner buffets are served. The hotel also offers an A La Carte restaurant (La Sibylle) and a cafeteria (Café Delos), which is open for service around the clock! In the evenings there’s a good atmosphere with entertainment and the two bars The Temple Bar Pub and Oceanic are pleasant places for a drink after dinner. From the hotel reception lobby, you have also direct access to the adjacent casino. Outside the door are the Saint Paul’s Bay side of Bugibba’s large selection of shops, restaurants, bars and terrace dining, and not least the several-kilometre-long sea promenade.
