Topaz Hotel, Bugibba, Malta Review

Topaz Hotel has recently been renovated and has been getting some good reviews. This is a large hotel in a good location in Bugibba – about a ten minute walk to the seafront and just a couple of minutes to a bus stop if you want to use the excellent bus service. The hotel has good facilities and activities including a fish shaped swimming pool, an English themed pub, sauna, jacuzzi and indoor pool as well as a games room for children.

Rooms at the Topaz Hotel are highly rated by previous guests. There are self catering studios and hotel rooms, the studios can also be booked with half board or breakfast included. The All Inclusive is in a twin / double only.

“We stayed at The Topaz in July 2009 – first time in Malta and thoroughly enjoyed the holiday in Bugibba. We booked on the back of a tip from friends who said the Topaz Hotel was nice and friendly and they weren’t wrong. It’s not a Hilton so some people might get the wrong idea of the four star rating but it was a good hotel in a good location with nothing to complain about. Enjoyed walking into Bugibba – good atmousphere. Also took buses to Gozo and Mdina – two really memorable trips. Would like to book for summer 2010 if prices OK and would consider All Inclusive”

On our price tests LowCostHolidays was slightly cheaper for booking The Topaz on self catering while sunshine had the edge on an all inclusive booking. We advice to check both travel agencies as prices change over time.
